This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was modified by fitting flared fenders and a stinger-style hood, refinishing the body in green, and installing a replacement 327ci L79 V8. The body was fitted with flared fenders and refinished in its current shade of green under prior ownership. It has a stinger-style hood, a replacement black soft top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, and a driver-side mirror. Blemishes are pictured in the gallery below.
Turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 235/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl in addition to a push-button AM/FM radio, heater, analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The replacement 327ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and is backed by a four-speed manual transmission.
