This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne pickup was acquired in 2020 and was subsequently refurbished. Work consisted of stripping and repainting the body, replacing the oil pan gasket, cab corners, rockers, and stainless steel trim. The truck is powered by a 350ci V8 linked with a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential and the truck is finished in Ochre and white over tan vinyl upholstery. Features include power steering, front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels with polished covers, an AM/FM stereo, cruise control, and a heater.
The truck was stripped and repainted in Ochre and white and the cab corners, rocker panels, and stainless trim were replaced during the refurbishment. Exterior details include a Fleetside bed, dual side mirrors, polished exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers. The paint was reportedly wet sanded and polished.
The 15″ steel wheels feature chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 265/70 Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The bench seat is trimmed in tan vinyl upholstery and interior appointments include a retro-style digital stereo, cruise control, a heater, and rubber floor mats.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 350ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt under prior ownership circa 2013. Work in 2024 consisted of replacing the oil pan gasket and performing an oil change.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission, and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was rebuilt in 2006. A dual exhaust system and an Eaton differential has been fitted.
